Andrew Mackinnon: Managing Director Andrew was raised in the Bronx, and spent his formative years hustling to eek out an existence. Far from ruing these hard-knock younger years, Andrew attributes much of his street-smarts and business savvy to the often difficult marketing environment he faced during this time. With his natural entrepreneurial aptitude and flare for developing business, in 2000 Macca took a sip from the cup of fate, founded The Taboo Group, and hasn’t looked back since. He credits the success of Taboo campaigns to his ever-growing young team, who he is proud to develop and nurture. Richard Hack: Strategy Director
Richie first rose to prominence in 1992 with his record-breaking performance on television game show ‘Double-Dare’. With a Bruce Lee like dedication to the not so ancient arts of business academia, Richie has kick punched his way to black-belt status: Bachelor of Business (Marketing), Master of Business Administration (MBA), RMIT Business Planning Competition Runner Up 2007, and Winner of Melbourne University's Entrepreneurs Challenge 2008. |

Reece Hobbins: Creative Director Arriving in Australia with over 10 years design experience under his belt, the addition of this multi-faceted Canadian to the Taboo team was a no-brainer. Raised as a wheat farmer, it was during the non-harvest winter months that Reece developed his creative talents. Sculpting ice statues, knitting toques, and mastering the art of snowman construction, Reece continued to extend his considerable cache of skills, resulting in the gifted web, graphic, and product designer we now behold. With hurricane-eyes and a sponge-like mind, Reece sucks in and absorbs creative ideas and initiatives from all over the world. Using this knowledge he guides his creative team to produce pioneering campaigns over a continually expanding variety of media, that like William Tell, always hit their target. |

Max Coles: Creative Max’s parents met on a photo shoot during the summer of ’74. His mother was posing as a model, and his father as a photographer. They didn’t fool anyone, and were kicked off the set. Thankfully they both went on to study and become professionals in their respective fields, and this photographic/photogenic lineage has since been passed down the line to Max. As an all round digital kid Max excels in creative and design, he can also moonwalk and make a sound like Chewbacca, so if this doesn’t work out, we look forward to seeing him on Australian Idol. |

Maddy Naylor: Account Manager Of Hawaiian extraction, Maddy relocated to Australia as a toddler. In her tweens she rose to prominence as winner of the 1998 Dolly Magazine model search, going on to become a premier teen hand model for several major labels. The hand-modeling industry’s cocaine-night-train style living and constant pressure to keep her hands clean eventually became too much, and Maddy quit her lucrative career with a determination to put her hands to better use. After a failed attempt at sign-language foreign correspondence, Maddy discovered her dexterous digits were best put to use on computers, organising, orchestrating, and implementing strategies as a powerfully pointed project manager. Directing campaigns and activations with elegant poise, Maddy is a model manager. |

Growing up on a steady diet of training and competition has ingrained this quad-lingual young lady with a focus and drive that translates into winning project management skills and advanced swearing in all four languages. When it comes to getting a jump on the competition and ensuring brands stand atop the podium, this is your go-to-girl. |
